This Charleston Engagement Session with Patrick and Olivia was so perfect!

Despite living in Colorado now, they wanted to have their engagement photos taken where they met, in Charleston, South Carolina. When she reached out I was living in Dallas at the time, so we coordinated the session to a time where all of us could be in Charleston together. During their engagement session, we made sure to stop at all the classic Charleston engagement session spots, but we also stopped at the house where they met and the house where Patrick lived while they were in school. I love that they wanted to have photos in front of the places that meant something to them. 

Knowing the two of them, I knew they weren’t going to need any advice on what to wear for the engagement session, and I was right! Patrick wore a burgundy suit, white button up and loafers while Olivia wore a beautiful white, lace dress with a bow in the back. 

As we were walking around Downtown Charleston we talked all about their plans for their wedding in Ireland next September! Olivia’s family is from Ireland and decided to jump on the opportunity for a destination wedding at a beautiful country house outside of Dublin. When she asked me if I traveled for weddings I immediately said yes!

I cannot wait to document their day, see their families in Dublin, Ireland!
