Fort Clinch Engagement Session

There’s something effortlessly romantic about Amelia Island. With its Spanish moss-draped oak trees, sweeping sand dunes, and golden sunsets, it’s a place where time feels slower and love stories shine even brighter. Katie and Dave’s engagement session at Fort Clinch State Park was the perfect reflection of that magic

We began the evening tucked beneath a canopy of oak trees, where Spanish moss framed the road in the most cinematic way. The two of them held each other close, laughing and swaying as the soft light filtered through the trees. It felt like stepping into a secret, enchanted part of Florida where the world paused just for them.

From there, we wandered to the boardwalk that overlooks the dunes and marsh. As the sun began to set, Katie and Dave settled onto a wooden bench, savoring the quiet moment together. The glow of golden hour wrapping around them we captured the in between glances and gentle gestures that speak volumes.

We ended the session as the sky turned pastel pink and blue. Katie and Dave popped a bottle of champagne and toasted to their future while the moon rose above the horizon. It was one of those perfect evenings where everything aligned perfectly, the light, the scenery, and their undeniable connection.

Fort Clinch State Park truly offers a little bit of everything for an engagement session. It has historic charm, lush greenery, and a pristine stretch of beach that feels untouched and private. Couples dreaming of photos that balance natural beauty with romantic storytelling, this is one of my favorite locations along Florida’s coast.

Katie and Dave’s session was a beautiful reminder of why I love engagement sessions, it’s not just about capturing portraits, but about preserving the little chapters of a love story that lead to “I do.
