The Waverly was the host venue for this stunning shoot with East Coast Creative Weddings and Events and Custom Vows by Casey. Amanda and Casey pulled together a stunning vision centered around the colors and textures of spring in Charleston, South Carolina. Here are some of my favorite details at the Springtime Soiree hosted at the Waverly.

The invitation and menu flatlays, designed by StudioAck, were nothing short of incredible. The palette of soft pastels Is featuring blush pinks, fresh greens, and a sunny yellow is complemented by playful accents like citrus fruits, fresh florals, and delicate ribbon details. Each invitation piece was thoughtfully designed, with scalloped edges, striped backgrounds, and custom wax seals that add a touch of elegance and cohesion. The menus, shaped like garden fans, and the illustrated weekend itinerary further enhance the cohesive, joyful aesthetic. Altogether, the suite exudes a lighthearted yet refined feel, perfect for a springtime soiree at The Waverly in Charleston.

The foundation of a table design are the linens. One table is a soft green and white striped linen that evokes a breezy, beachside feel without leaning too nautical. Layered on top are woven rattan chargers, scalloped white plates with a delicate blush trim, and shell-shaped menus in a soft sage green. Each finished with a bold pink tassel for a pop of personality. On another table there are blue and white textured linens with a white floral charger, purple striped plate and a cream plate with a round rattan inspired menu card with a small watercolor palmetto icon.

Lush florals in cheerful hues, hot pinks, sunny yellows, and soft greens run down the center of the table in a casual, garden inspired arrangement. The mix of textures and blooms feels fresh picked and joyful, striking a balance between wild and curated. Taper and votive candles brings warmth and height to the table, their soft flicker adding intimacy and elegance. The tall blue tapers in clear, fluted hurricane holders add a splash of cool color that ties in beautifully with the coastal palette.

One of the standout elements of this setup is the playful use of paper parasol name cards, adding a touch of whimsy and a subtle nod to vintage beachside glam. Each place setting also includes a small ceramic shell dish with a butter knife, perfect for small bites or artisanal breads.

The details at this springtime soiree really made the day feel so magical. I cannot wait to share more including the portraits with the stunning couple and bridesmaids.
